Last week saw the release of ‘The Rock Box‘ by Suzi Quatro via Chrysalis Records. We had the pleasure of supplying the DVD authoring for this set, giving us a great insight into the artist. The DVD includes promos, Top Of The Pops appearances and a live set filmed in Japan. These kind of jobs are great to work on due to the variety of content. With the DVD and 7 audio CDs included, this set is essential for any fan of rock ‘n’ roll.

Suzi Quatro is a legend and icon of feminism, blazing her own unique trail in what was a male-dominated genre at the time in the 1970s. Over the course of her 50-year career, she has sold over 50 million records worldwide. Bursting onto the rock scene in 1973 with the U.K. chart-topper Can The Can, she continued a long string of hits singles including 48 Crash, Daytona Demon, Devil Gate Drive, The Wild One, If You Can’t Give Me Love and others.

Chrysalis are on a role at the moment with these boxset releases. Over the last year we’ve authored music DVDs for The Waterboys, Chesney Hawkes and now Suzi Quatro. And each release has included a wealth of audio and video material along with a book. Fortunately there’s more releases in the pipeline and we hope to continue this working relationship.
